Join us for an immersive 2-day celebration of Indian classical art at
 Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center

Sunday, September 7, 2025

The electrifying programing for this year includes visiting musicians:

Indrajit Roy-Chowdhury & Nilan Chaudhuri

Percussion Ensemble from RohanRhythm Studio

This year, we bring to you

Surabhi – Choreographic Blossoming

in an afternoon of trailblazing interpretations of the classical dance arts of India.

Scholar-choreographer Maya Kulkarni will deliver a talk contextualizing these directions for new work. As part of this showcase are dancers:

Kasi Aysola

Archana Raja

& an ensemble of Shilpanatanam dancers.

We also feature a preview of up-coming work by Utah-based Nitya Nritya Dance Company in collaboration with Karaikudi Voyage from Portland.

The festival offers a dynamic blend of lec-dems, performances & talks by a mix of Utah’s own and visiting artists, and authentic Indian snacks available for purchase.

We are also collaborating with Eastern Arts to create a free lobby exhibit of musical instruments.

Don’t forget to RSVP via our Event on FaceBook to receive updates and essential information about the festival!
